BPsych Halloween Night

I haven't been in the mood to blog lately, especially since assignment deadlines are looming close by. But, if I don't do this now, this will be another extremely outdated post xD

Went for BPsych's Halloween 'Party' last Thursday - I wouldn't really consider it a party, hence, the open inverted commas. She-who-shall-only-be-named-with-titles let us out early FOR ONCE so that we can make it in time for Halloween; probably the only good thing she has done for us since the start of the semester.

Yin Mei and Kar Wei followed me back to my place cos' I wanted to bathe and drive there instead!

We were quite early by the time we reached HELP even though I initially thought I would be late. It was suppose to start at 7.30pm, but when we were there, the lower foyer seemed really empty with only a few dressed-up ghosts haunting the area. So, the three of us went up to KFC for dinner instead.

Karie joined us after that. When she said she was going to be in a costume, I didn't know she meant THIS. No wonder she was quite reluctant to come up to KFC and join us at first. haha

This girl was at the registration counter. It took me about half a minute to realize that she didn't have a face and my automatic response kicked in - I screamed; obviously surprising my friends because I stood there for quite some time without screaming.

Can guess who the mummified person is? Jill. She was the ONLY person I couldn't recognize in the whole event. She waved while saying 'hi' and I stoned there for a while before saying "Sorry, do I know you?" Oooooops? C'mon, admit it - even you wouldn't know it was Jill (for those of you who know her lah)

They were the lost Chinese ghosts who found their way to HELP's Halloween Night

There was a short skit from one of the scenes in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, where Professor Quirrell allowed Voldermort to 'possess' him to speak to Harry. Their remake was quite twisted though - the Stupify spell changed to Stupid Fly.

Selfish woman who hogs the entire computer lab (the cooler one) in KPD E almost all the time and claims that she has a class when there's freaking no students in there at all!

Yin Mei as herself, Alden as some random investigator with a tarantula and yours truly, me, as myself. Suzanne says I'm scary enough being me :(

Then, there was the part where people were called on stage to reenact the scene where Harry, Ron and Hermione played the chess game. I was one of the not so lucky ones to get picked to get killed by Harry Potter just because I was wearing the nature/nurture shirt ('Peeves' was the person selling the shirt) =.=

Their task is to kill the other chess pieces. There were 4 other chess 'pieces' including me.

Farah wanted to kill me at first cos' she claims that I apparently dragged her to come for Halloween but she didn't get to pick who to kill - so, she was made to kill the Queen (Valerie)

Once upon a time, it was the evil witch who gave out poisonous apples for free. Now, we have to pay 2 sickles (RM2) for one poisonous apple! o_O Then again, suicide rates ARE increasing afterall. Aside from that, there was shaved goblin toes, dragon eyes and vampire's blood (which is actually Rose Water)

I wouldn't say that the entire event was really fun, but it wasn't that bad either! I guess a bigger crowd, more performance and a scarier haunted house would be good :)
